Is a password with symbols always strong?
No. «P@ssw0rd!» follows a pattern cracking tools try first, while four unrelated words are far harder to guess and easier to remember. Predictability costs more than a missing symbol.
Where should I keep passwords?
In a password manager — it is the only realistic way to have a different long password everywhere. Writing them in a note or a browser profile without a master password gives away everything at once.
